‘Christmas Gift’ Jumbo White Amaryllis Bulb

$26.00

Pure white trumpets with a soft green throat. ‘Christmas Gift’ opens 7-inch blooms, four to five per stem, on stalks that stay a manageable 14 to 18 inches tall, so it suits a tabletop, mantel, or windowsill. This is a jumbo bulb (36 cm and up), and each one can send up two to three thick stalks.

The name suggests the holidays, but Dutch-grown amaryllis bloom a little later. Plant it from November through January, and about 8 to 12 weeks later it brings fresh, white flowers to the middle of winter, between January and March. Give it at the holidays and let the recipient enjoy the bloom as a bright start to the new year.
